QA Engineer (Automation)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with expertise in test automation and strong Java knowledge. Your role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining automated tests, ensuring high-quality software. You will actively participate in improving testing processes and collaborate closely with other team members, including analysts, developers, and other QA engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development and maintenance of automated tests within the automation framework;
• Support and enhancement of the automated testing solution;
• Development of auxiliary scripts;
• Analysis of test results during regression testing;
• Formalization of identified defects and monitoring their resolution;
• Close collaboration with the team: analysts, developers, QA;
• Automation of test cases and code review of automated tests;
• Participation in release deployments, including planning and conducting regression testing;
• Improvement of testing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in developing automated tests using Java and utilizing Selenium/Selenide tools;
• Experience working with Agile methodology;
• Practical experience in automating end-to-end (e2e) tests;
• Experience with Jira and Swagger;
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and its impact on testing pro-cesses;
• Language skills: English / German;
• Courses / certifications in automated testing;
