Senior C++ Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior-level engineer to work on complex and large-scale C++ projects. This role involves participating in architecture design, solving high-level challenges, as well as mentoring and supporting junior specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and development of high-performance C++ solutions for various platforms.
• Optimization of existing code, improving system performance and reliability.
• Implementation of complex algorithms and mathematical models.
• Participation in architectural decisions and development strategy formulation.
• Mentoring: assisting junior engineers, conducting code reviews.
• Work with multithreading, network programming, and low-level interaction.
• Implementation and use of modern development practices, including CI/CD and profiling.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years of experience with C++.
• Deep knowledge of modern language standards (C++11/14/17/20).
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Strong skills in debugging and profiling tools (Valgrind, GDB, Perf, etc.).
• Experience with popular libraries (Boost, Qt, STL).
• Skills in optimization and working with real-time systems (a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or embedded systems.
