Database Engineer (Oracle)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer (Oracle) with certification in this field to join our team. The candidate will play a key role in the development, optimization, and support of Oracle databases, as well as the implementation of advanced solutions to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architectural design and development of high-load Oracle databases. 
• Implementation of advanced methods and technologies to optimize database performance and scalability. 
• Management of the database lifecycle, including monitoring, optimization, backup, and recovery. 
• Leading the development and implementation of ETL processes to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Coordination with other teams to optimize and improve application performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle databases. 
• Deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including experience with complex queries and procedures. 
• Experience implementing and configuring high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions using Oracle RAC or Oracle Data Guard. 
• Familiarity with Oracle performance optimization methods and tools such as AWR, ASH, SQL Tuning Advisor. 
• Ability to design and implement complex ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle GoldenGate, or similar tools. 
• Experience with cloud-based Oracle databases (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database) is a significant advantage. 
• Project management and team leadership experience. 
• Oracle certification (OCP, OCM).
