ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Blockchain Engineer you will become part of our blockchain community and develop various solutions based on this technology branch and using a broad repertoire of technologies and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will develop innovative solutions based on blockchain technology;
In particular, you will deal with standards and tools relating to SSI (Self-Sovereign Identity);
You will work in a team to develop and implement proof of concepts for customers;
You will advise customers on the choice of technology and the best approach;
Depending on the technical focus, you will also provide support in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines or connecting to existing IoT systems;
You will accompany the projects through the entire project life cycle;
You will also contribute your knowledge and ideas to the community and evaluate them together with your colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS

Completed IT-orientated technical education, completed IT-orientated studies or relevant professional experience;
Experience in object-oriented programming with Java, JavaScript or Golang;
Experience with the Ethereum Chain or alternative chains;
Experience with SSI-relevant standards such as DIDComm, Verifiable Credentials, Aries, SD-JWT or mDL;
Ideally knowledge of OpenID Connect, the Trust-over-IP framework or eIDAS 2.0;
Ideally experience with IT projects in the public sector;
Team spirit, mutual respect and mutual support;
Good communication skills with very good knowledge of English.
